Project overview

Located in the Petit Juas district of Cannes, this villa had poorly exploited potential just waiting to be revealed. Purchased by a foreign family to spend magical moments in the south of France, this villa was entirely reimagined as a soothing little paradise.

The challenge

The project's challenge was twofold: on one hand, completely rethink the upper floor layout to create 3 real suites with private bathroom and WC, and on the other hand, enhance the garden-level space that was dark and unwelcoming, transforming it into a true cocoon.

Our solution

Following the analysis of various technical constraints (structures and networks), we were able to completely rethink the upper floor plan. Thanks to the creation of a raised technical floor over a third of the surface, we met the challenge of creating 3 WCs where there had been only one. This technical feat allowed us to offer 3 magnificent private suites to clients.

In parallel, the entire basement was also redesigned: transforming a former dark and completely open space into a luxurious, intimate and soothing suite. As a bonus, we were able to transform a former storage room into a small extra children's bedroom (always with the goal of maximizing the value of every square meter).

For the living area, even though it did not undergo a major renovation, many raw elements such as OSB floors and metal beams were completely concealed to purify the space. The fireplace area was also completely dressed to harmonize perfectly with the rest of the house.
